have a lot of products for sale, we may recommend
use of a products
database and our shopping
cart software, both of which would integrate
with our secure server for completing a sales
transaction on your site.
If you only have a few products for sale, a simple
online order form connected to our secure server
might be more appropriate.
What It Does
OWT's
secure server allows you to collect credit card payment information
from your customers; it does not do the actual
credit
card processing.*
Because of this, we are able to offer our clients an account
on OWT's Verisign-approved secure server at minimal cost.
How It Works
When a
customer places an order through your web site, their credit
card
information is kept confidential and private on the secure
server; you get an email notifying you that a customer has placed
an
order, and that email includes a link to your secure server
account where
you can retrieve the payment information. At that point, you
process the online order like you would a telephone order.
