Custom Web Sites
OWT redesigned this web site for our New Jersey-based stage drapery and supply company client. The design we did is actually very close to the site's previous appearance and layout; what we did was convert the old design into a more user-friendly and search engine-friendly web site. The new site loads much more quickly than its predecessor and offers quicker access to the content users are seeking. By emphasizing text links, updated news, and rewritten copy, we were able to make the site more search engine friendly, too.
The OWT content management system plus other custom tools powers the back end of this site, allowing our client instant, 24-hour access to updating almost any section of the web site.
Distinctive Properties showcases our Real Estate database capabilities, and this project was recently upgraded to include a new feature, "My Distinctive." This is a service which allows users to create accounts on the web site and, in doing so, gain access to a variety of tools that makes the home buying experience more enjoyable. "My Distinctive" also allows for greater communication between agents and clients, all through the web site interface.
OWT's programming team has also written a custom application that accesses and imports the master MLS database, then reformats the information for a unique presentation on Distinctive Properties' web site.
